Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for Non Resident Indians (NRI)
Q. Is there any separate process for the Visa and Permit procedure for NRIs travelling to Kailash Mansarovar? Can any NRI travel together with Indian passport holders?
There is a separate process for NRIs; however, NRIs can travel together with Indian passport holders. The NRIs have to arrive in Nepal 4-5 working days before the Kailash Yatra date. Upon reaching Nepal, you will be issued a Nepal VISA On Arrival. There, you have to submit your passport to the team member of Trip To Temples, who will then apply for a Group Visa for the Kailash Yatra.
