The journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat will be full of a divine environment, natural beauty, small villages, plenty of waterfalls, and mountain views all around. You will get to see 18 attractions during the whole Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra:-
(i) Bhimtal- The C-shaped, Bhimtal Lake, is the largest lake in the Kumaon region which was created by Bhima- one of the Pandav brothers.
(ii) Neem Karoli Baba Ashram- Kainchi Dham is the place where Neem Karoli Baba spent the last years of his life. Popularly known as Maharaji by his followers, Neem Karoli Baba was a Hindu guru and a devotee of the Hindu god Hanuman.
(iii) Jageshwar Dham Temple- Jageshwar Dham is a large temple complex containing about 125 temples and 174 sculptures. It is situated on the bank of Jata Ganga.
(iv) Chitai Golu Mandir- Chitai Temple or Golu Devta Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Golu Devta. He is famous as the God of justice or Nyaya ka Devta. He is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva in the form of Gaur Bhairav.
(v) Mount Adi Kailash- It is the replica of Mount Kailash, hence it is called Chota Kailash or Baba Kailash. Mount Adi Kailash is the second Kailash of the Panch Kailash.
(vi) Pandav Parvat- The Pandav Parvat is a group of five similar-looking mountains near Mount Adi Kailash which is considered to be the five Pandav brothers.
(vii) Pandav Fort- During Mahabharata, Pandav Fort was the place where Pandavas stayed at the time of their exile (Agyat Vaas) of 12 years.
(viii) Parvati Mukut- Parvati Mukut means the crown of the Hindu goddess Parvati. It is a stone-like structure forming the shape of a crown on the top of a mountain opposite Mount Adi Kailash.
(ix) Kunti Parvat- Located in the last village of India in Uttarakhand - Kuti village, this mountain is named after Mata Kunti- the mother of the Pandava brothers.
(x) Bramha Parvat- The Brahma Parvat is the mountain dedicated to the Hindu God of Creation- Lord Brahma. While travelling from Kuti village to Jolingkong, you will get to see Brahma Parvat.
(xi) Parvati Sarovar- It is said that Parvati Sarovar is a lake in which Goddess Parvati used to take bath. It is situated at an elevation of 4501 metre above sea level at a 2-3 km approx trek from Jolingkong.
(xii) Adi kailash Temple- It is located next to Parvati Sarovar at an elevation of 4501 m above sea level. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati.
(xiii) Gauri Kund- It is around 3-4 km from Parvati Sarovar and is situated at the feet of Adi Kailash.It is at an elevation of about 15000 ft.Taking bath in the Gauri Kund is not allowed.
(xiv) Om Parvat- Located on the Indo- Nepal- Tibet border in Uttarakhand, Om Parvat holds utmost importance for Hindus. The snow falling on the peak of Om Parvat naturally takes the shape of ॐ.
(xv) Kali Temple- A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati, and Lord Ganesha at Kala Pani is called Kali temple.
(xvi) Sheshnag Parvat- It is located on the way between Nabidhang and Gunji in Uttarakhand. This mountain resembles Shesh Naag- the king of all snakes.
(xvii) Ved Vyas Gufa- Located at Kala Paani this cave is named after Maharshi Ved Vyas. It is said that Maharshi Ved Vyas meditated here and also he dictated Mahabharatha to Lord Ganesha here.
(xviii) Patal Bhuvaneshwar- It is a 160-meter-long and 90 feet deep limestone cave inside which you will see naturally formed structures of the entire 33 Koti gods and goddesses.

- Kunti Parvat - Located in the last village of India in Uttarakhand - Kuti village, this mountain is named after Mata Kunti- the mother of the Pandav brothers.
- Pandav Parvat - The Pandav Parvat is a group of five similar-looking mountains near Mount Adi Kailash which is considered to be the five Pandav brothers.
- Mount Adi Kailash - It is the replica of Mount Kailash, hence it is called Chota Kailash or Baba Kailash. Mount Adi Kailash is the second Kailash of the Panch Kailash. - Shiv Parvati Temple - It is located next to Parvati Sarovar at an elevation of 4501 m above sea level. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. You can visit the temple after a trek of 2-3 km approx from Jolingkong- the base camp of Mount Adi Kailash.
- Gauri Kund - Located at an elevation of 4610 metre above sea level on the foot of Mount Adi Kailash, Gauri Kund is a holy water lake at a 3-4 km approx trek from Jolingkong.
Q. What is the Adi Kailash Trek distance?
Earlier people had to trek about 100 KM one way from Dharchula to Adi Kailash, Om Parvat but now with the development of the road network, the distance has become majorly motorable up to Om Parvat viewpoint & Jolinkong- the viewpoint of Mount Adi Kailash. The Adi Kailash trek distance to reach Baba Kailash temple and Parvati Sarovar from Jolinkong is about 2 to 3 km approx which is an optional trek.
Q. What is the difficulty level of the Adi Kailash Trek?
Earlier it used to be extremely difficult when people had to trek for 200 km approx to reach Adi Kailash & Om Parvat. Most of the pilgrims were not able to make it & had to return mid-way. Carrying luggage was also a big challenge, especially in some rain. Now with the development of motorable roads, the 2 to 3-km approx trek has become easy/ moderate which can be done by any person who is physically fit.

- Kali Temple- A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati, and Lord Ganesha at Kala Pani is called Kali temple.

Q. Can we take a dip in Parvati Sarovar on Adi Kailash Yatra?
Yes, you can take a dip in Parvati Sarovar if you wish, however it is not recommended due to the cold weather.
Q. What is the Adi Kailash Trek / Chota Kailash Trek?
Till 2021, this Yatra was entirely done by a trek of approx 200 KM & was known as Adi Kailash Trek. Now with improved infrastructure, the trekking part has significantly come down to an optional trek of approx 2 to 3 km from Jolinkong to Shiva Parvati Temple in front of Adi Kailash and Parvati Sarovar and 3-4 km to Gauri Kund. Pilgrims who are not comfortable trekking or walking even 2-3 KM can also take part in Yatra & have a darshan of Adi Kailash from Jolinkong.
Q. What is the Om Parvat Trek map?
Earlier there was a trek from Dharchula to Om Parvat in Uttarakhand which was called Om Parvat Trek. Now since the government has developed road networks, there is no trek in Om Parvat Yatra. Pilgrims can easily go to Om Parvat Darshan Point at Nabidhang by vehicle.Distance of Om parvat trek from Gunji one way is approximately 22 km and is motorable now with vehicles.
