The Everest Base Camp (EBC)- New Tingri is a 14-day tour that offers breathtaking views of Mt. Everest. The Tibet Lhasa Everest Base Camp tour begins from Kathmandu. Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu, is home to several beautiful Hindu temples, particularly dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Jal Narayan Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, and Patan Durbar Square. The next day, you will visit the Pakba Temple and Padmasambhava Cave. On the third day, you will visit the must-visit places of New Tingri–Milarepa’s birthplace and Peiku Tso Lake. Other places to visit in the tour package include Tashilunpo Monastery and Yamdrok Lake. In Lhasa, you will visit Jokhang Monastery, Potala Palace, and Sera Monastery.

YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)
Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our representative for visa assistance, and transfer to the hotel. After rest, visit Budhanilkantha Temple to see the sleeping Vishnu. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Kathmandu Sightseeings
After breakfast, start to explore the valley of Kathmandu: Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, and Budhnath Stupa. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.
Kathmandu to Gyirong
The group will depart at dawn for the Gyirong border with a packed breakfast. A 6-hour jeep ride offers thrilling mountain views, jungles, and waterfalls at sunrise. After completing border formalities, a short drive takes you to Gyirong City for hotel check-in. Enjoy an evening stroll to explore local shops and restaurants. Rest and dine at the hotel.
Gyirong
This day focuses on acclimatization as we gain altitude. After breakfast, trek to Padmasambhava Cave via village trails, then return to Gyirong City. Visit Pakba Temple, a nunnery in the city center. Dinner and stay in Gyirong.
Gyirong - New Tingri
After breakfast, embark on an 8-hour drive to New Tingri, visiting Milarepa's birthplace and Peiku Tso Lake (300 sq. km) along the way. Upon arrival, relax and enjoy dinner with an overnight stay
New Tingri - Shigatse
After breakfast, head to Shigatse, Tibet's second-largest city. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse, explore nearby markets, and enjoy the city's nightlife. Dinner with an overnight stay.
Shigatse- Lhasa
Today, we descend in altitude traveling from Shigatse to Lhasa. En route, pass through Gyantse, Tibet's third-largest city, home to a 9th-century fortress and Palcho Monastery. Visit the Kharo La Glacier (5,050 m) and Yamdrok Yumtso, Tibet's largest freshwater lake, known as the "Turquoise Lake of Tibet." Arrive in Lhasa at night. Dinner with an overnight stay.
Lhasa
Begin the day in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. After breakfast, visit the UNESCO-listed Potala Palace, a historic administrative and cultural center, winter residence of the Dalai Lamas, and their burial site. Next, tour the revered Jokhang Temple, also a UNESCO site, followed by exploring the city's street markets. Enjoy dinner and stay at the hotel.
Lhasa
After a relaxing breakfast, visit Sera Monastery, known as the "Wild Rose Monastery." Once home to 7,000 monks, which now houses about 500 across three faculties. Witness the monks' debates and explore the monastery. Enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Lhasa's markets and nightlife.
Lhasa- Sakya- Lhatse
Depart early morning from Lhasa to Lhatse, stopping at Sakya Monastery. This 13th-century complex, split by the Trum-chu river, once housed over 3,000 monks and features Mongolian-style architecture. After the visit, continue to Lhatse for rest and dinner at the hotel.
Lhatse -EBC-New Tingri
Today, we'll start an early morning drive to Everest Base Camp, stopping at a viewpoint for the Himalayan range. Electric buses will cover the final 40 km to minimize pollution. Passing through small towns, you'll reach the Base Camp without trekking, spending 25-30 minutes there depending on oxygen levels. We'll then drive to New Tingri for dinner and an overnight stay.
New Tingri - Gyirong
Drive towards Gyirong from New Tingri. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Gyirong-Kathmandu
Today, after breakfast, we check out and drive 30 minutes to the border for customs and immigration. Then, take a 6-hour jeep ride to Kathmandu, check in at the hotel, and spend the evening exploring Thamel's shops, cafés, and restaurants. Conclude the day with a dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- It is our most important aim that you enjoy your holiday and that we earn your trust. However, we are not responsible for any cancellation due to any unforeseen disputes, weather-related issues, natural calamities, technical failure of any type of transport we use, loss of earnings,Weather, late arrivals or force majeure, or any items beyond our control.
- After booking, if you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Trip To Temples in writing at accounts@triptotemples.com or adik@triptotemples.com.
- Once Trip To Temples receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
● 50% refund on cancellations between 21 and 45 days.
● 30% refund on cancellations between 15 and 20 days.
● 20% refund on cancellations between 11 and 14 days.
● No refund before 10 days of departure or Yatra denial by local doctors during medical check-up in Yatra.
- The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. We can accept replacements from customers without any cost for up to 20 days from the Yatra date with complete documents.
- All refunds and cancellations are applicable as per the cancellation policy, with a processing time of 15 working days from the date of cancellation.
PAYMENT POLICY
- Minimum 30% at the time of booking
- The remaining should be paid a minimum of 30 days before the date of travel. For hotel-specific booking, you have to pay 50% at the time of booking.
- On-ground payments are not allowed.
ALTERATION POLICY
- For Group + Private Departures, If Rescheduling/ Modification is done 15 days before the date of travel, 30% of the total tour cost will be charged as the rescheduling fee
- For hotel-specific, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as the rescheduling fees.
- No rescheduling/ Modification available between 0-15 Days before the date of travel
- Rescheduling validity extended to one year from the existing date of travel.
Modification Charges
- In case of a change in no. of people, route, vehicle, no. of days, like, etc, a new quote is to be provided to the customer
NOTE
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
- Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect befor departure.
