Uttarakhand Kailash Yatra Packages

The Uttarakhand Kailash Yatra, popularly known as the Chhota Kailash Yatra, is one of the most spiritually significant Himalayan pilgrimages in India. Nestled in the remote Kumaon region of Uttarakhand near the Indo-Nepal border, Chhota Kailash is revered as a sacred abode of Lord Shiva and is often considered a smaller yet equally divine counterpart to Mount Kailash in Tibet.

Uttarakhand Kailash Darshan is all you need to connect yourself with the divinity of Lord Shiva, where you get to experience an unprecedented fusion of pilgrimage and adventure as you take to the skies in a helicopter, exploring the snowy terrain. For the very first time in history, Trip To Temples, in partnership with UTDB and KMVN, presents an array of options for a Winter Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra. For these specially curated journeys, our fleet of helicopters, including the MI17 and H125, along with ATVs offer shorter-duration trips at subsidized rates, allowing you to witness the awe-inspiring beauty of these sacred destinations during the winter season as well.

Uttarakhand Kailash Yatra from Major Cities

Pilgrims can conveniently join the yatra from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and other major cities across India. Customized travel arrangements and guided departures make the pilgrimage accessible for families, groups, and individual travellers.

Book your Uttarakhand Kailash Yatra and embark on a sacred journey to Chhota Kailash and Parvati Sarovar through the majestic Himalayas with expert-guided pilgrimage support.

Popular Places To Explore During Your Adi Kailash Yatra

Adi Kailash

Also known as Chhota Kailash, this peak soars up to 6,310 m and offers a glimpse of the smaller version of the Tibetan Mount Kailash, which is considered the centrepiece of the entire yatra.

Om Parvat

Nestled in the Vyas Valley of Pithoragarh district, this natural landform takes its name from the snow-draped fin that resembles the sacred ॐ (Om) that can be seen from Nabi Dhang viewpoint (no trek required)

Gauri Kund

The farthest point you can reach on foot from the base of the Adi Kailash and also the closest anyone can get to the peak. The optional trek to this glacial lake extends beyond the Parvati Sarovar, so consider allocating a full day if you’re up for it.

Parvati Sarovar

This glacial lake close to the Adi Kailash base captures the magnificent reflection of the peak, and is therefore the most photographed spot on the trail. This optional trek is comparatively short and can be done on a day when you’re not doing Gauri Kund; most people manage it easily after having skipped Gauri Kund.

Shiv Parvati Temple

Right next to the Parvati Sarovar, this temple complex is maintained by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, who also have a bathing ghat set up at the lakefront. This stop is combined with the visit to the Parvati Sarovar.

Neeb Karoli Baba Ashram, Kainchi Dham

The ashram of the revered Neeb Karoli Baba – believed to be an incarnation of Lord Hanuman continues to draw followers from all across the globe. It’s a good opportunity to take it slow and relax, with 30 to 45 minutes being a reasonable window for a detour. Also, a popular spot for taking selfies with the local devotees.

Chitai Golu Devta Temple

A temple dedicated to Golu Devta, the “Lord of Justice,” whose fans write down their prayers and tie them to the bells around the complex, and then return to untie them when their prayer has been answered. Worth a 20 to 30 minute detour to wander the bell-strewn premises.
