Now, Indian pilgrims can take a mountain flight across Kailash Mansarovar

Indian pilgrims can now experience the darshan of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar as Nepal's Shree Airlines successfully operated the mountain flight for Kailash Mansarovar Aerial Darshan, which had 38 tourists on board, hailing from New Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. 

Previously, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was suspended due to the India-China military standoff and COVID-19. However, the darshan of Mount Kailash is now easily possible with a Kailash Mansarovar mountain flight that is directly operational from the Nepalgunj Airport to Kailash Mansarovar. 

The Bombardier CRJ-700 had 44 pilgrims flying from the Nepalgunj which included foreigners and five crew members. The operation of the flight was fully managed by Trip To Temples, Siddhartha Hospitality Group, Nepalgunj, Pathil Holidays, Kathmandu. The overall duration of the flight from Nepalgunj to Kailash is 75 minutes. The flight flew at a height of 27000 ft. and was commanded by Captain Prafull Vaidya. 

The airline said in its statement that it also looking forward to launching the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in Nepalgunj and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu anytime soon. "The aerial darshan route for Kailash Yatra will augment the declining business and create more and more tourism destinations for Indian tourists, said Keshav Nepune, the travel and tourism entrepreneur." Mount Kailash is the holiest and one of the ultimate pilgrimage destinations for Hindus and Buddhists, and the route via Nepal is the easiest and most hassle-free route for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
