Gorakhpur Muktinath Dham (3 Night / 4 Days)

This carefully planned four-day pilgrimage connects the spiritual plains of Uttar Pradesh with the high-altitude wonders of the Mustang region in Nepal. It was made to make the trip to one of the world's highest temples as easy as possible. The route starts in Gorakhpur (India) and goes north for three hours to the Sonauli border. At Bhairahawa, it enters the green, rolling hills of Nepal. We use a strategic "Fly-In" model to avoid the long, difficult 15-hour drive through rough terrain. We take a scenic flight to Pokhara, which is on the lake and then a special mountain plane to Jomsom. 

From Jomsom, the last leg to the holy shrine is done in a local Jeep safari, which keeps pilgrims' energy up for prayer instead of making them tired from travelling. The return circuit goes through the cultural center of Kathmandu, giving you a full experience of the Vedic and Buddhist traditions of the Himalayas. The best time to go on this trip is between March and June or September and November, when the weather is nice in the valleys and cool in the mountains. Because of the 3,710-meter altitude, the physical effort is rated as moderate. However, our itinerary is full of flights, making it the easiest route for families and senior citizens, who want to see the Lord of Salvation.
