- The Nepal route is the best route that makes your yatra effortless and hassle-free. The yatra begins from the Hilsa and Kyirong border. This route has comfortable and hygienic stays.
- The Nepal route is quite cost-effective too. There is no lucky draw system. Since the trekking is quite limited, medical procedures remain easygoing.
- This pilgrimage is not recommended for kids. Individuals between the ages of 10 and 70 only are permitted to go to the Kailash Yatra. However, the Government Of India route allows travelers only between the ages of 18 and 70 years.

Visa And Passport Requirements For Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
- A passport and a visa are required for Indians to take up the Yatra. This is because Mount Kailash is located in Tibet and is governed by China. In case you plan to go via the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) route, following the guidelines of the MEA remains important. In addition to this, you can book the yatra via a travel agency, and all the formalities of the visa process for Mount Kailash Yatra will be initiated by the agency.
- This is a stapled visa issued only for pilgrims. With the help of this visa, pilgrims can visit the Kailash region only. This visa does not permit traveling to other parts of China.
