A Guide On A 13 Day Trip To Kailash Mansarovar

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a gateway to strengthening one’s faith. Many have experienced calmness and a burst of positivity while returning from the yatra. Chanting ‘Har Har Mahadev’ throughout the yatra amidst the breathtaking vistas of Mount Kailash fills one’s heart with immense joy and devotion.

Mount Kailash—the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, is known to be the center for cosmic energy. It’s an axis that serves as a connection between heaven and Earth. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one of the most pious journeys. Mount Kailash is significant among the five holy Kailash—Adi Kailash, Manimahesh Kailash, Kinnaur Kailash, and Shrikhand Kailash.

The holy journey begins in India and passes through Nepal before reaching Tibet. There are two popular ways to go on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The Ministry of External Affairs (Government Of India) sponsors the yatra. You can book the yatra via a travel management firm as well. It is almost a 15-20 day long high-altitude yatra that can be said to be the test of devotion and faith. The yatra can be easily completed in 13 days.
